Admissions in School of Engineering, for Indian students, are taken on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) in JEE (Mains) Examination. The counselling procedure is carried out by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) and Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) (later stages). Further details below.
For foreign nationals, admission happens through Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA). For details refer to the section on DASA given below.

Updates on DASA Admissions:

Mode of admission (online or offline) will depend on the the Govt. guidelines at the time of admission.
Classes will start tentatively from mid of December.
Medical certificate issued by competent Government authority is acceptable subjected to the re-issue of the same at JNU Health Center if needed.
